About Me

I’m a qualified counsellor and clinical supervisor offering a warm, thoughtful, and collaborative space for people who want to understand themselves more deeply and create lasting change.

I work relationally and integratively, which means I don’t believe in a one-size-fits-all approach to therapy. Instead, I’m interested in you — your experiences, relationships, identity, and inner world, and how your past and present connect. The therapeutic relationship itself is central to my work, and I place great importance on creating a space where you feel safe, respected, and genuinely met as you are.

I’m particularly drawn to longer-term work, as I believe meaningful change often happens over time. Many of the people I work with come to therapy feeling stuck in familiar patterns, overwhelmed by emotions, or disconnected from themselves or others. Together, we take time to explore what’s underneath these experiences, gently building insight, self-compassion, and a stronger sense of agency.

I am neurodiversity-affirming in my practice and work with autistic and ADHD clients, as well as those exploring whether they may be neurodivergent. I understand how differences in communication, sensory processing, emotional regulation, and identity can shape a person’s experience of the world — and how often these differences are misunderstood or pathologised. My approach focuses on understanding and working with your nervous system, strengths, and needs, rather than trying to make you fit a particular mould.

I also offer an LGBTQ+ aligned and inclusive therapeutic space. I work with clients across the spectrum of sexual orientation, gender identity, and relationship structures, and I’m mindful of the impact of minority stress, shame, and social expectations. Therapy with me is a place where your identity does not need to be explained, defended, or justified.

My approach is reflective and emotionally attuned, but also grounded and practical. I won’t rush to ‘fix’ you or offer quick solutions where deeper understanding is needed. At the same time, I aim to help therapy feel purposeful and containing, supporting you to make sense of your experiences and how they show up in your everyday life.

You don’t need to arrive with the right words or a clear goal — part of the work is discovering those together. I work at your pace, holding compassion and honesty, and I’m comfortable sitting with complexity, uncertainty, and difficult emotions.
